19th century fret, coping, or jeweler’s saw, maker unknown

Description

This is an elegant little saw, most likely from France or Germany originally.   The lower screw is an obvious replacement.   No blade is included, but you can easily use modern coping saw or scroll-saw blades in one of these (I find that Delta scroll-saw blades work really well).  Excellent for fine cutting of curves in thin materials, coping, etc.
