Description
This saw is a bit of a puzzle. It doesn’t have the ordinary Disston medallion — just the “Warranted Superior” medallion that was typically used for second-line stuff. But the etch (though faint) is definitely Disston, and definitely unlike any that I’ve seen before or that I can find pictured online. The saw is straight and well-maintained, and fairly sharp (still plucks at the fingers a bit). It’s also a very convenient size for bench work.
Like I say, a puzzle, but a good one.
