Description
As usual with these, the japanning is completely worn off the back of the lever cap; this is the result of normal use, because that’s where the operator’s hand rests when the plane is used. There’s quite a bit of life left in the cutter, and the throat opens and closes smoothly. As you can see in the photo, there’s a small triangular hole in the bottom of the plane – probably the result of a casting flaw, and nothing that will affect the operation of the plane.
