Description
Stanley compass plane; the V-logo on the iron dates it to somewhere between 1910 and 1912. The japanning on the body is worn from use — as usual, in all the places where the worker’s hands rested when the plane was in use. The flexible sole is free from cracks or breaks. The sole adjuster works smoothly and well. The cutter’s sharp and very well kept, with about 2″ left — with one of these, that’s at least a decade’s worth of life. This will make a very solid worker.
