Sargent “Little Shaver” Modelmaker’s block plane/finger plane/thumb plane

Description

Measures about 3-1/2″ by 1-1/2″ overall.

Sargent sold these little planes under their own name, and a couple of others — notably Craftsman.   This one is unmarked save for the telltale “BL” cast in the bed.   All finishes are in nearly-new condition. Excellent for modelmaking and other fine work, or for work in confined spaces.
