Description
This is Ohio Tool’s version of the Stanley #120, lovingly described by one tool authority as “a piece of junk” to be used “as a clay pigeon”. Ohio Tool did make one improvement — the cutter adjustment mechanism is a little more robust than on the Stanley original, but basically this is only of interest to Ohio Tool collectors. Knob on this one is completely intact, japanning in the bed is great, and as usual there’s major wear to the japanning on the lever cap, both from use (the user’s palm rests on the cap) and from insertion under the bar that holds it down. Interesting mostly to the two of you who collect Ohio Tools, but what the hell, it’s a plane.
