Hollow auger / tenon cutter; no maker’s mark

Description

Unable to discover who made this. There is a patent date on the cutter, but I was unsuccessful in finding it in Google Patents. It’s in very good condition; there’s a fair amount of chips out of the paint, likely the result of toolbox dings. The cutter is sharp, and all of the adjustments work well.
