Hollow auger made by the E.C. Stearns Co., Syracuse, NY

Description

This hollow auger is in great condition.  There’s plenty of life left in the cutter.  The depth stop may or may not be missing — every hollow auger in the repro Stearns catalog I have shows one, but there’s no evidence that one was ever used (no marks on any of the places where it might have been clamped).   Not completely sure it’s needed, in any case.
