Description
Made between 1855 and 1866 by the last of a long line of Copeland family planemaking companies. An unusually large size. Exceptionally clean and crisp, with only a little mushrooming on the top of the wedge to show that it ever got much use.
Like other planes in this batch, this one was poorly stored and the end of the cutter required derusting. That’s been done, but you’ll need to put a little effort into lapping and honing. It will be well worth it.
