Description
Made by the Gellman Manufacturing Company of Rock Island, IL, and patented in 1923. These turn up fairly frequently, but are interesting nonetheless. They adjust quickly and don’t slip — sort of like having a wrench that will fit wherever arc-joint pliers would, but with a much more positive grip.
Gellman was apparently a versatile inventor — he also patented a bread-wrapping machine and a massage table.
