Craftsman brace, 10″ throw, made by Peck, Stow, and Wilcox

Not much doubt that this is a Pexto brace — the shape of the chuck is a dead giveaway, for one thing.   Wooden handle in good condition with a couple of glue smears.  Finish on the pad is flaked and worn from use, but the ball-bearings are all there and the pad spins easily. Chuck springs are good, and the chuck and ratchet operate smoothly and well.
