Buck Brothers tanged gouge, 1/2″, sharpened outcannel, no. 7 sweep

Description

This gouge is in excellent condition. The tang is held firmly in the handle, there is very, very little mushrooming on the striking face. There’s a little bit of pitting at the top of the rear surface, but that won’t make any difference in terms of sharpening. There’s about 3-1/2″ left on the gouge, enough for years of use.
