Description
Dimond does not show up in the EAIA Directory of American Toolmakers, but he’s undoubtedly related to two other Dimonds who do show up there, both from New Hampshire.
The handle on this one is clearly not the original, but it fits well. There’s over six inches left to the shoulder, enough for a lifetime of use. The cutting edge(s) are quite sharp, but there are a number of chips, probably from hitting nails; don’t think they’ll affect use much (you can see them in the photo). This will make a good worker.
