Stanley #4C corrugated sole smoothing plane, type 19 (1948-61)

Description

This one’s in good shape.  The rosewood knob and tote have the usual ring scratches and toolbox dings; the japanning in the bed is all there and the nickel plating on the lever cap is in excellent condition.   Plenty of life left  in the cutter.  A few faint paint streaks on the sole, as is typical (I’ve always kind of wondered how people manage to do that).   This will make an excellent worker.
