Stanley Handyman H1204 #4 smoothing plane

Description

Handyman tools were Stanley’s second line for homeowners, but they’re still quite serviceable.   This one  is suffering from storage rust and needs a cleaning, but will make a decent worker once that’s done.  Plating on the lever cap is good, on the cap iron less so.  Paint on the hardwood knob and tote is in good shape; in the bed of the plane it’s about 90% or better.  Comes with the original box, which is pretty beat up.
