Stanley #7C jointer plane, Type 8

Description

This Stanley #7C jointer plane is in average condition.  There are the usual ring scratches and toolbox dings on the knob and tote.   About 95% of the japanning is left, with the usual chipping at the toe and heel.  As often happens, the owner cut off part of the horn on the tote, to provide clearance for the lateral adjustment lever.   The cutter and lever cap have a fairly heavy layer of storage rust, but this should clean up quickly with WD-40 or Evaporust and a little elbow grease.
