Stanley #7 jointer plane, Type 5 (1885-1888)

Description

This plane is in well-above-average condition. The knob is intact, with only the usual toolbox dings and ring scratches. As often happens, the owner sliced off the top of the tote, no doubt to make it easier to adjust the lateral adjustment lever. Japanning in the bed is 100%. There’s only about 1-1/2″ left on the cutter, enough for a few years, but eventually the cutter will need to be replaced.
