Stanley #66 hand beader, no cutters, curved fence only. Type 1 (1886-1898)

Description

Earliest variety of the Stanley #66 hand beader.  Very little of the original japanning is present, and of course the wear is greatest on the handles.   The screw and cutter-holding mechanism appear original, as does the curved fence.   Replacement cutter sets and fences are widely available on the Internet.
