Stanley #4C corrugated-sole smoothing plane, Type 19 (1948-1961)

Description

In decent condition; rosewood knob and tote were finished with that weird lacquer Stanley used — the one that flakes badly.  Japanning in bed is 90% or more; nickel-plated lever cap is a little spotty.   There’s some light storage rust and a little blush on the sides that should clean up well.  2″ or so left on the cutter, which is plenty.
