Stanley #3 smoothing plane, Type 16 (1933-41)

Description

Guessing that this might actually date to late 1941 or early 1942, because the front knob is hardwood rather than rosewood.  The tote *is* rosewood, but has a badly-repaired break in the usual spot near the bottom.  Japanning in the bed is over 95%.  About 2″ left on the cutter, which should keep you going for a while.  Will make a good worker.
