Stanley #3 smaller-sized smoother, type 16

Description

This is a solid worker.   There is quite a bit of wear to the finish on the knob and tote,  but the japanning in the bed is all there, save for a few micro-chips at the toe.  There is some kind of gitch on the tote — looks like it might be caulk — and some of the finish is worn off around the horn.   Lots of life left in the cutter.  Not the prettiest I’ve ever seen, but it will get the job done for sure.
