Small vise made by Littestown Hardware and Foundry Company

Likely made for whitesmithing and jewelry making.   This will clamp to a benchtop up to about 1-1/8″ thick;  the jaws are 1-7/8″ wide and will hold something up to about 1-3/4″ thick. As you can see in the photo, the moving jaw has a miniature anvil.  This one has a few file nicks on the jaws.  A great tool for working with small metal parts.
