Recessed quarter-round plane, 1/4″ radius, by E. Blaby

Description

Blaby is an undocumented planemaker; only a few of his planes have been found.  It’s a fair guess that he was English.  This recessed quarter-round is marked “5” on the heel and appears to be about 1/4″ in radius — quite small for a quarter-round.  The plane is in good condition, with no damage to the wedge and the usual wear at the heel and toe.  A very uncommon item.
