Description
This is an odd little mutt from a long-forgotten byway of smoothing plane history. The Metal Products Corporation of West Haven, CT re-sold planes made by Peck, Stow and Wilcox. This one has a frog that is actually part of the casting of the plane; most others have been observed with much cheaper sheet-metal frogs (you can read a discussion here). This isn’t one I’d buy for use, but if you’re interested in a curiosity, this sure is one.
