Lester Patent saw set

Description

This unusual saw set was patented on April 5, 1904 by one Joseph Lester, of Norwich CT.   It’s an unusual find, mostly of interest to saw-set collectors, because it’s not clear that it offers any advantage over other designs.  That said, the method of adjusting for different thicknesses of blade and setting angle is pretty clever.   Patent papers are here.
