Gundlach 577 hammer, probably a watchmaker or jeweler’s tool

Hard to tell what this hammer was meant for, exactly.  It most closely resembles a clockmaker’s or jeweler’s hammer, though it might be a very lightweight riveting hammer for a tinsmith.   Weighing in at 5 oz., it wasn’t made for driving railway spikes, that’s for sure.
