Greenfield Tool Co. No. 609 2″ skew rabbet plane

Description

This is, to put it daintily, one big-ass skew rabbet plane.  Wedge is free of mushrooming; there are a few microchips on one edge.  The bottom has a couple of small chips on the toe, probably the result of the same nail strikes that resulted in a few small chips in the cutting edge of the iron.  It’ll need to be reground.  There are a few small stains on the body, but nothing too bad.
