Description
Made for only two years between 1892 and 1894 by the FA Howard company of Belfast, Maine, this was an improvement on the 1874 Allard patent design. These were never designed to have a return spring, and are among the earliest Archimedean screwdrivers made.
This one’s in very good condition, given its age. A nice example of a very unusual tool.
