Description
One of these was the first handplane I ever owned; I inherited it from my father. These have a plastic knob and tote. This one’s in pretty good shape, but it has a light layer of storage rust on the cutter and cap iron. Nickel plating on the lever cap has little flecks of rust here and there. Not quite sure how anybody gets paint on the sole of a plane, but this has some streaks which should lap out fast with a little 1000 grit sandpaper and some WD-40. This one will take a little work to clean up, but you’ll end up with a good worker.
