Cantelo patent folding drawknife

Description

One of the more ingenious folding drawknives made, these allow the handles to move both in the plane of the blade, and in 360 degree rotation around that plane.  The handles can be folded over the handle or at any angle to it horizontally, and can also be rotated at an angle to the cutter (for example, to make pulling down on the knife easier).

Cantelo was originally from Prince Edward Island; he made drawknives in Boston from 1891 until about 1920.
