1″ tanged gouge by W. Butcher, sharpened outcannel, #6 sweep

Description

This gouge is in good condition.  There are a few small patches of light storage rust, which will clean very quickly with a little WD-40.   The gouge is firmly anchored in the handle. There’s a tiny bit of damage to the striking surface, but nothing bad.  There’s a little under 3″ left to the shoulder, enough for years of use.
