Buck Bros. Cast Steel 1.5″ gouge, #5 sweep

Description

Big, burly gouge, 15″ overall with 7-1/2″ of steel left — more than enough for a lifetime.  Sharpened in-cannel. Original handle has a big ol’ chip out of it, clearly visible in photo, no doubt the result of overzealous banging with something that was not a wooden mallet.
