Description
I’ve seen a lot of farrier’s hammers, but this is one of only a very few that have had the clip used to hang it from a saddle or saddlebag. Handle is original; head needs some rust cleaned off it, and has a small chip out of the face.
By the way, farrier’s hammers are useful for a lot more than shoeing horses — I find them great for working with anything that needs a tack hammered in, especially rush seats, where the frames you’re tacking the rush into tends to bounce around a lot. The extra weight of the head really helps.
