Unmarked 9/16″ tanged bevel-edged paring chisel

Description

The chisel itself is in well-above-average condition — the handle not so much.   It looks as though the user picked a handle that was a little small for the tang, and managed to split the non-striking end of the handle.  He did wire the thing back together and it now holds quite well.   There’s no damage to the striking face.  There’s about 6-1/4″ left to the shoulder, enough for many years of use.
