1-3/4″ tanged gouge, #5 sweep, confusingly marked

Description

The maker’s mark on this is hard to read, and I can’t find anything close in the lists of edge tool makers I have.   The handle is firmly anchored, with only the normal wear from use.   There’s a little more than 3-1/2″ left to the shoulder, enough for at least a decade of use.
