Stanley 5C jack plane, Type 15

Description

This jack plane is a bit of a Frankenplane — the tote has been replaced by one from Millers Falls, no doubt because the owner broke the original, and the cutter was taken from an earlier type.  Rosewood knob is in good shape.  Most of the japanning in the bed is gone, and some derusting is going to be needed; nothing that a little WD-40, a scrubbie, and some elbow grease can’t fix.
