James Swan 1/4″ bevel-edged socket paring chisel

Description

Paring chisel in excellent condition, with over 6″ left to the shoulder, enough for years of use.  Edge is sharp and has been well-kept.  The handle is user-made, but fits very well; no idea what wood was used but it’s some variety of hardwood and free from mushrooming or any other kind of damage.   A nice one.
