Description
The Goodell-Pratt #111 is a little unusual in that it was designed without a return spring — although perhaps that’s not so surprising, since a lot of users removed them. This one operates smoothly, and the ratchet “shifter” works well too. The plated parts are in very good condition. Whoever owned this made a thoughtful modification — he flattened the handle on four sides, presumably to keep it from rolling, and he did a good enough job that I thought it was part of its manufacture. Only one of the three blades originally sold with it is included.
